Tuesday, November 5, is an at-home learning day for all GSCS students.


As we move toward winter and the days get shorter, please help us keep our children safe on dark mornings. Many of our students walk to school and stand at bus stops. Please drive slowly and use these safety tips to help protect our students. Thank You.

The 2024 class will be inducted at the board of education meeting on Tuesday, October 22, at 6 p.m. in the board room at 216 S. 6th Street. Congratulations to these exemplary educators!

We would like to thank the Members of WoodmenLife Insurance, Chapter #370 for purchasing $1,000 worth of PBIS incentives. Your generosity is greatly appreciated. Students can earn points daily for meeting the 5 P's, which are our behavioral expectations: Be Prompt, Prepared, Productive, Polite, and Patient. They can then purchase prizes in our PBIS school store and/or attend PBIS celebrations with the points they have earned."
